Filipino Weapons. They are my distributor and I have never had a problem. The quality in sticks and weapons are excellent. They are a legit FMA store. GM Bustillo owns it as well as IMB (International Martial Arts and Boxing) in Carson CA. What I like about them, is that they are hassle free and very outgoing. I would suggest on purchasing from them. However, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. It is not wise to use this as a primary technique, hence the whole science of the intercept. Regardless of a fighters ability or reputation most are at least bound by physics. Regards, Carlton H. Fung,D.D.S. My best to you both and may there be many healthy puppys/kittys to enrich your lives and all those who have the pleasure of training with you Marc, and knowing you both. Big WOOF. I think most people have problems with feinting when they engage in = half-hearted "one step sparring" type feints. Feints work best when you = can "sell" them realistically. A common problem in beginners is to = feint from a range where their opponent is not threatened by the feinted = attack. Another common beginners' mistake is to put their feints only = at the beginning of a combination. A feint put in as the second or third = move in a five strike combination will tend to make the feint more = believable. You should also have the strike after the feint planned out = before the feint. Feinting as a fishing expedition to see how he reacts = rarely leaves you with enough time to exploit any opening created by the = feint. As for power, a feint at one angle can load your muscles = plyametrically for a strike at its' opposing angle. A forehand feint can = load a backhand strike and a hand feint can load a kick. Feinting should be one tool in your toolbox. A measuring tape may not = do the visible work that a hammer or saw does, but it does allow those = other tools to work more efficiently. (Great question by the way. I = think I'll have to do an article on feinting for the next issue of the = PTI newsletter). Great news! A Federal District judge in Texas (where else?) has ruled = that the 2nd Amendment does in fact guarantee an individual right to = keep and bear arms. This still has to go to the U.S. Supreme Court to = effect gun control laws nationally, but it is a very BIG first step. = You can find the judges decision at: www.nraila.org/emerson.html Regards, Tuhon Bill McGrath "Arm in the hands of the citizens, (may) be used at individual = discretion for the defense of the nation, the overthrow of tyranny, and = private self defense."
