Both are internet friends of mine and from the talk I have heard of their seminars I had to see for myself. Master West is one of the nicest ppl you will ever meet and a wonderful hapkido artist. We had a great time at his seminar and I would recomend anyone to go. He was definately better than Pelligrini's seminar. Anyone who knows of his seminars being in your area, go, learn, have fun, get to know this guy and his wife who he says is the meanest hapkido player in the world. Anyone interested in having him come and do one contact him at hapkido@netdoor.com Donna - -- NO!! My cycle doesn't leak! Sorry if it is a repost......... I am in the midst of reading Marc Wiley's Filipino Martial Culture. In this book he spoke of "widely respected masters". He mentioned one name which I confess I'm not familiar with... Islao Romo. Mr Wiley said.... "... the late Islao Romo was said to be unbelievable, and eyewitness accounts attest to his beating Felicissimo Dizon, among other revered masters, in challenge matches......" Can anyone provide more details on Mr Romo? Is there a system which is associated with him? Are there well known students from his lineage? And.. what other revered masters did he beat in these matches? Thanks for any info.... ~Kev ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Tue, 28 Sep 1999 05:57:49 -0700 (PDT) Subject: eskrima: . ------------------------------ End of Inayan_Eskrima/FMA-Digest V6 #402 **************************************** To unsubscribe from this digest, eskrima-digest, send the command: unsubscribe eskrima-digest -or- unsubscribe eskrima-digest your.old@address in the BODY of an email (top line, left justified) addressed to majordomo@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com.
