Fired my gun more than any 10 LEO's probably ever will. ( Hit nothing , simply wasn't brave enough to really aim) all before the age of 23. And the worse ass kicking I ever got ( no pun intended ) was from a mule named Elmer, and NO I won't explain the last one!!!!! Boy do I feel tuff now. >> Hmm... I dont know how violence can be any more or less "real life" depending on your job. LEO's have to face danger everyday as part of their career..... As a matter of fact they intentionally try to find dangerous people and stop them as part of "serving and protecting" society. Anybody else who faces that kind of danger (bouncer or whatever) is doing it to preserve the profits of an establishment. If a bouncer faces as much nightly/daily danger as a Cop, than I think the community would be better served if that establishment were closed. And if I had been shot, stabbed etc. that many times not "in the line of duty". I would be trying to figure out why my lifestyle (or lack of situational awareness/control) was putting me in those situations. P.S. Another thing, its been my experience in the military, that the guys who have "been in the Shit" dont tally up kills and wounds or talk about their exploits as much as the "wanna bes" do. Too many people are declaring themselves "masters of the blade", especially since they have only been practicing these arts for a few short years! Ok, when a private citizen is attacked, they are usually alone, granted, that's the way a predator works, and I understand that. But consider, how often is a private citizen in contact with the dregs of society? I see them every day...and the predators are still there, just operate a little differently. We are seriously, SERIOUSLY outnumbered in the facility, or any facility. <>why don't you go out and buy the series (just trying to keep marc in the lifestyle he's grown accustom to, while taking a swipe at Jon at the same time) << I, along with many other members of this list, do have the Dog Bros tapes, which are both entertaining and informative, but as the fighters are only ever refered to as black, grey, shorts etc I do not know who is who, so I will repeat my original request for info on who is who, beyond the obvious messers Knaus, Denny and Sanford.
