It certainly would be a great experience. Today I uploaded to one of my sites the Virtual Drill Master program that some of you may recall my asking for input on a while ago. It's original purpose was just to provide me with some spontaniety when I was practicing disarms. The program would randomly "throw" strikes at me, forcing me to react to an external stimulus rather than to my own mental 'now here comes an ^6' drilling. Now it does a lot more. With images, text, and sounds VDM lets you create and customize drills, instruction, whatever you can think of regarding your practice. I've lately been using it for rounds timer even. I hope that some of you will take a look and offer some feedback. I've tested and played with it a good bit ( it was "ready" 3 weeks ago ) and think that all the kinks are out and essential features in. You can get the program at: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/lab/3881/VDM.htm And there should always be a link to it on my KALI page: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Pantheon/5640 ashley ------------------------------ From: "BILL MCGRATH" Date: Sat, 1 Jan 2000 21:09:46 -0500 Subject: eskrima: Pekiti Jan MPEGs The January MPEG videos are now on the Pekiti-Tirsia International web site (www.pekiti-tirsia.com). The video on the public MPEG page shows knife tapping (December's videos which are still on the site shows a walking stick set and Solo Baston Abcedario set 1). The video on the PTI member's only page shows technique 1 from the 2nd set of Seguidas. (December showed # 1 from Seguidas set 1 and a footwork drill for Seguidas).
