I have begun training in the weapons aspect of AHA and thought the shield thing was kinda neat. Also on the agenda is Knobe Capri ( SP ) it seems like a fairly effective method of stick fighting, I would say its about medium range. I understand that Burton Richardson, Does T-Cha (sp) and AHA, any info or insight as to how it holds up in combat would be interesting. The guy I am learning from is a student of mine who use to train under a gentleman named Kalindi (sp). The shield thing really has me going and I can't wait to fight with it. Allen Sachete's videos of Tatang Ilustrisimo, Vincent Sanchez, and of course GT Gaje and Nene Tortal show excellent demonstrations by the above men. Of course you need to have some knowledge of what they are doing to really appreciate the moves. > It's > really more of a demo tape than an instructional tape (i.e.: there's > a lot more > *doing* than *explaining*) ===== "Draw me not without reason, sheath me not without honor" Chad Hawaii __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? We are going to watch the fights and to get some extra training! It will be a good experience for me.
