According to my Father Grandmaster Felipe "Garimot" Baet, Escrima and Estokada is part of Moro-moro. Every player of Moro-moro are a must to learn the Basic Fencing called "Escrima" and Defensive art of Estocada. Escrima are Spanish word for their Fencing , and Estokada are the Defensive fighting arts of the Bullfighters. In the ringside where the "Matador" (Bullfighter) facing the wild and fearless Bulls, he's job is to keep himself untouchable by this Wild Beast, Estokada are the only effective way to defeat an attacking Bulls. Deflecting to the side and thrust while the bull is busy attacking moving forward are the theory of Estocada. Go with the force and then take advantage of the Deflecting movements while your opponent are busy attacking forward, is common techniques used in Arnis. In Moro-moro each player are taught in Battle dances called "Batalyas" which contains basic movement of Escrima and Estokada, also a lot of Carenza(Pamamltacia) or shadow blade fights.
