Another good place to get them is ebay. The FMA book is on just about every week now and the price has dropped from about $100 to $60. I recently picked up a second copy for $50. Most of the online book stores that I've found them in list his books from $60 -$100 as well. Gerger is a Ilukano word meaning "to take care of". No dimo nga "igerger", to take care of or to terminate. Used in the Ag-Sarak context the gerger method derives from two words "gerret" or "to cut" and "gerit" meaning "hide and seek". Hence, a specialized substyle/footwork designed to cut from an advantageous position. In some Pangasinan methods the term "gerger" is also used but in Pangasinense it connotates a whole different meaning and strategy. Hope this helps. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but I think the AFCK is probably the most elegant folder in the Benchmade line. Most of their other knives are just plain ugly. My only caveat with the AFCK is that, not having a rocker lock, the blade doesn't POSITIVELY lock shut when you think you've closed it. I ripped my pants to shreds putting it my pocket the first week. You can imagine my concern when I looked down and saw the blade's point was still exposed and my pants leg in ribbons. Visually confirm closure before putting it in your pocket! For you 2.5 inch knife, consider the Spyderco Worker with wickedly-shaped point. I have a Benchmade Pinnacle that I am very satisfied with. It has handle made of titanium with a lock much like the Chris Reeves Sabenza (like a liner lock, but the handle scale itself takes the place of the liner). It has a 3.6" blade of ATS-34. A little longer than you asked for, but I haven't found anything smaller that fits my hand well. The Knife Center of the Internet (www.knifecenter.com) has the Pinnacle for $109 to $119 depending on what model you want. Was this in reference to the "buntot pagi?" This is quite large...well over 2 feet in some cases. Unfortunately I lost the knife after I set it on my lap in the car and it fell out when I "de-bussed." I then picked-up a Spyderco Military model. I'm still not sold on this knife yet. The former head Marine Corps hand to hand guy, Hans Marrero, was in town on Thursday demonstrating the new "Air Taser". Hans had a Pocket Hobbit from Roundeye. Although this knife is a little large for pocket carry (it comes with a Kydex belt carrier) it appears to be one heck of a rugged knife. I own a Roundeye Hobbit and can attest to its quality. In short I've experienced no problems with Benchmade knives and have found them to be well made without being too pricey.
