I would like to train in it once or twice a week and am wondering if anyone can recommend a school, preferably in downtown Manhattan. I work down on Wall Street, so the closer to that the better. I have had them for several years and have used them on seveal occasions, and they hold up. They are available on www.dogbrothers.com The other kind which my instructor Nate Defensor, are the Soft-Stix, and they are rubber-foam on the outside, and they seem to hold up. Hope this helps Sid FKEAC ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Sun, 05 Mar 2000 18:54:55 PST Subject: Re: eskrima: identify the systems > i have run across some old time fma masters names in a book but i never > heard of them - can anyone give me any info reguarding them and what systems > they are in? it would be much appriated > > apilitdo (sp?) > ovalles > jack santos > tencecia (sp?) > pedoy > subing-subing > revillar > eliab > sucitaw > sarmiento (sp?) > flesimo mavenedo > ted lucay-lucay (sr.) > ramos > tenio > saturion Most of these folks w/their styles are mentioned in the ever present FMA FAQ.
