I have a tringular one that I spotted on >the Bakbakkan website and would like to know more about it. I am not an expert, but have researched anting-anting for a piece I wrote. The actual amulet could be anything, but the value of the object is only to it's owner. The effect does not transfer if the amulet is passed on. Since each one is a personal thing, the only person who could tell you more about the one you have would be the person whose anting-anting it was. Anything anyone else might tell you would just be a guess. There are two people I know of that are certified by the Buddhai Sawan institute in the Northwest: - Mike Walrath in Eugene Thai Boxing. Assoc--Eugene Branch 160 Azaelea Eugene, OR 97404 (541) 607-7033 - Steve Wilson in Salem (I think, but he was a longtime resident of Kennewick, WA and has students there) Contact information unknown Mike Walrath has students that are trained in KK. Ray Guin is one of Mike's senior students (good record fighting, too) and If I remember correctly his KK is good. I think Ray is teaching at the University in Corvalis. No contact information though. In addition, I believe that Geoff Brock in Seattle has been to Thailand to study KK. I'm not sure if he's certified, but I know that he's good. - Geoff Brock (206) 930-1555 E-mail Address: gbrock@aa.net Terry Tippie Thai Boxing Assoc. of the USA ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2000 12:21:38 -0800 (PST) Subject: [none] ------------------------------ End of Inayan_Eskrima/FMA-Digest V7 #152 **************************************** To unsubscribe from the eskrima-digest send the command: unsubscribe eskrima-digest -or- unsubscribe eskrima-digest your.old@address in the BODY of an email (top line, left justified) addressed to majordomo@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com.
