He already visited the local jujitsu school and met the woman there who runs it like the dojo of the 60s -- you know, out of touch with today's reality. My student is well-rounded combatively from handguns to knife work to traditional arts. Any good referrals for any challenging training will be greatly appreciated. (...and earn you a complimentary class with us when you visit NYC.) [Actually, you all have a standing invitation whenever you like.] Thanks, James Loriega New York Ninpokai >> There was a guy named Paul Morrero in Scottsdale. He taught Mande Muda (and maybe some other things as well). I met him at a seminar with Herman Suwanda. He seemed very knowledgeable and very practical. I don't know if he's still teaching. If you can find him, though, he'd be worth checking out. The number I have for him is (602) 483-2460. He's a TKD instructor and I think he may have taken a boot to the head to many times, you know how that is!!. For some reason they have a hard time figuring out how to subscribe to the list ( and they call me slow :-) ). Any ways the seminar is going to be changes, I will not be teaching any Ukrainian wrestling, due to my knee. And to clarify a few things before the nit pickers flood my mail box. I was the first person to take Modern Arnis to Sweden and Germany Finland and Norway. Any ways if you get a chance stop by " I'll be the pudgy guy with a limp!!
