List member Alain Burrese's book Hard Won Wisdom may soon be out of print. Now is a good time to pick up a copy before it is too late. I recommend the book. Ray Terry =========================================================================== Forwarded message: From: ABurrese@aol.com Date: Sun, 9 Apr 2000 13:22:13 EDT Subject: HARD WON WISDOM Greetings, I hope this note finds you well. After talking to Paladin Press this week, it has been determined that they will drop HARD WON WISDOM FROM THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS. Thank you to all of you for your support. I will get the rights to the book back, and have already been looking at alternate ways to publish the book and keep it in print. Right now, Bob Orlando's suggestion of iuniverse.com looks like it might be a good way for me to go, since I don't have the money for self-publishing at the moment due to law school expenses. The main thing is I will have it published again, and I think it will do better than it had since I am starting seminars and such this summer that will help sales. If nothing else, I'll show Paladin that they made a mistake. :-) Yeah, that arrogant cockiness of the airborne sniper is still in me, maybe I keep it reigned in a bit better than when younger, but I still have it. And I will get HARD WON WISDOM back on it's feet and do things to make it sell better than before. BTW: One of the three books I'm working slowly on right now is about Sniper Strategies for Success! Thanks again! For those of you that ordered a book from Paladin, you should be able to get a copy, but they were running real low. If you couldn't get it, I have a few until I get it published elsewhere, or you can wait for the new one. Depending on the price the new publisher puts on it, it could be cheaper then. It's not that I'll get rich with this book, but I don't want to see it unavailable, especially when the seminars are just starting. So, thank you and all the best, Alain http://members.aol.com/aburrese/ ------------------------------ From: "T Mendoza" Date: Sun, 09 Apr 2000 18:25:35 CDT Subject: eskrima: Dan Inosanto in CHICAGO Good evening all!
