He also teaches Grappling, and I believe he has Rob Kelly teaching Thai occasionally. I'm a student from Hannover (Germany), and I will spent 3 month in Charlotte in fall 2000. Are there any FMA schools in this area you could recommend. I'm especially interested in Pekiti Tirsia, Inosanto's Blend, Silat, JKD and Thai Boxing. If anyone could recommend a school - please let me know. Thanks in advance Jens Steve Grantham Network Engineer OneCoast Network (404) 836-8846 ------------------------------ From: Rocky Pasiwk Date: Tue, 11 Apr 2000 19:35:47 -0400 Subject: eskrima: Cuentada DeMano Seminar Just a reminder I will be in Flagstaff AZ this week end. The seminar will unfortunately be some what limited, due to my knee. I won't be teaching any Ukrainian Wrestling, hooks, or break type throws. I will concentrate more on close quarters, in fighting, and how to take the opponents corner. And how to utilize body movement over footwork especially when you can't do footwork. Any ways the seminar will be geared towards beginners. Thanks Rocky ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Tue, 11 Apr 2000 17:23:04 -0700 (PDT) Subject: eskrima: slow ? Things sure have been slow around here the last many weeks. Do I have to run down to Flagstaff and kick Rock in his sore knee to liven things up around here???
