I think the problem is that many people take it way too far and actually apply forward moving force rather than the sensation of it. It can be very hard for a beginner to understand the difference between the two, however. Sige, David Reyes~ - --------------- Teens held in alleged plot to ax classmates- By Francis P. Garland Lode Bureau Chief SONORA -- Tuolumne County sheriff's officials arrested two 17-year-old boys Friday on suspicion of conspiracy in connection with their plans to use "swords and knives" to wreak violent havoc on Summerville High School students and staff members. The arrests of the two boys -- one a student at the school and the other a former student -- came following an investigation that started in early March after a confidential informant tipped off school administrators that someone was making threats against students and staff members, said Linda Frost, superintendent of the Summerville Union High School District. Frost said the threats were taken seriously and reported to the Sheriff's Department, which in turn assigned a number of detectives and outside agencies to help with the investigation. Frost said investigators asked school administrators to keep the investigation confidential to keep the suspects from destroying evidence or "going underground." Sheriff's Lt. John Steely said investigators learned that a group of three to five people "were planning to enter the school with knives and swords and do harm and kill students and staff members." Investigators obtained a search warrant Thursday and gathered enough evidence to obtain four more search warrants and to arrest the two 17-year-old boys on conspiracy charges at their homes Friday morning, Steely said. Steely said authorities have seized swords, knives, several firearms and other evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and Steely said he didn't know if any more arrests are forthcoming. Steely said searches were conducted at five separate residences. Although several firearms were found, Steely said investigators believe the suspects weren't planning to use firearms in their attack. ------------------------------ From: Dagaxxx@aol.com Date: Sat, 15 Apr 2000 14:00:07 EDT Subject: eskrima: Re: Inayan_Eskrima/FMA-Digest V7 #180 In a message dated 4/15/2000 6:46:36 AM Pacific Daylight Time, eskrima-digest-owner@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com writes: <> - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - -------------------------------------------- Has anyone seen Ted Lucaylucay's video "The Blade to Boxing" from AJT Productions?
