We had no idea that there was so much interest in the Indonesian art in the SF Bay area. Pendekar Yana and Maha Guro Uddin would like to personally thank those who came out for this rare event. For more information on other upcoming workshops, please contact me at "bob_manalo@goplay.com". I was a student of Kyud Lanada's @ Kuntaw ng Pilipinas in Olongapo City and was very excited to find he was in Chula Vista California close to where I live. I have been also unable to reach him by email and I hope all is well with Punong Guro Lanada. However I was able to reach Master Spence though email to the Kuntaw site on Geocites and he recommended Master Bud Cothrin in Chula Vista. I don't still have his number but you could try Kyud Alice through her link in the guest book on the Kuntaw site. She teaches now in North Carolina "anyone in North Carolina that has a chance to study with her don't pass it up!" " and judging by my broken knuckles and heavy scaring on my hands wear hand protection :-)" There is an excellent kenpo/Arnis studio in San Diego "Cepeda Bros Martial Arts" 6506 El Cajon Blvd. San Diego 92115 619-583-0753 This is not a fancy new age dojo it's an old school sweat and blood gym dedicated to the love of there arts. Good luck in your search On sticks I have always felt that the one closest to my hand that hits my opponent before he hits me is the correct size. To Tuhon Bill McGrath many thanks for your taking the time to give me advise on my return to the martial arts. I only wish I would have listened, I didn't want to accept my limitations so tried to go back with no modifications and ended up back under the knife. PUMUPUGAY!!
