FC sparring: minimalist padding, sharp blade. James has had the pleasure of sticking me a few times out of some free flow drills. Usually we like to do pre-set drills with the blades and every once and a while, free flow and pull the cuts. Perhaps some very light sparring with hockey gloves and mask would be nice to try. Another idea I had was to wear all white, use permanent markers(different colors for two) and put 100 dollars to each cut that you receive to your opponent. In a real knife fight, who wants to get cut? In this "monetary" sparring, who wants to give a $100. ===== Check out our web page at http://www.fullcontacthi.com and visit Chad's Corner-Full Contact Stickfighting in Hawaii. I am an instructor in World Kum Do Tae Kwon Do (WTF). There is one other Martial Arts School and it is the same style. Your student is welcome to contact me if he would like to train. I have not heard of the Princeton Academy but the city of Princeton is about 90 miles away (1.5 hour drive). If you student would like any info on the Wildwood area please contact me directly. Since she has little direct knowledge of how to properly handle a firearm, I would humbly suggest that we send her several subscriptions to magazines such as guns and ammo, soldier of fortune, handgun, combat handguns, delta press, palidin press, swat, and other such reading material so she will have all the information needed to utilize new weapon should she need to. >> Good suggestion. I thought I read that it was in fact her bodyguard that applied for a CCW. This is not only hypocritical, it's discriminatory. In effect, she's saying that HER life should be afforded full protection by lethal means, while John Q. Public should be denied that same right. What's worse, millions of people are brainwashed by this moron because she's on TV, & they assume she's some sort of expert.. sickening..
