He said that alot of times he doesn't carry a knife, but he'll carry sharpened pencils. I thought that was a little strange, until I saw him throw some projectiles, and his vital template drills, then it made alot more sense. I don't carry a knife near as much as I used to now.If you have an interest in the knife, you have GOT to see how the Sayoc group utilizes it. Agreed, this is very true. Nowadays a lot of practitioner learn only how to handle the stick, seem like gotten into there head already, that why I am very serious of picking students. I personally tell the person if I don't want him to be in my class, I I see some sign of disrespect, bad attitudes (No manners). This is my policies, so far all of my students is very humble, and friendly. I tried to keep it that way. Okay keep training and give a lot of respect to your instructors and others. You never know..just saying... Okay, I am just making a clear idea of a knife thread. What ever is the one your state is legal to carry, and the one that you can affords is good enough to carry. But don't forget, once you carry a knife, and you got in trouble, control yourself, its better to control the situation, not to control you by the situation. Be smart don't be fooled by this coward people, I hate see you in Jail by this because you are "matapang" (courageous). Keep training and I hope I gave you a piece of advice. If you are not sure how to used them don't >bring it with they might used it also against you my friends. Amen, brad! (Raise the Roof!) This is so very true, particularly among young bucks... in some places (as in the case of a close friend), just carrying a knife can open you up to all sorts of (illegal) searches and trumped up charges... Another knife q: Why is the balisong illegal (in most states)? Folders "conceal" the blade too... Another folding baton q: Are ASPs, Phoenixes retractable batons illegal (to carry or to own) in ALL US states? and From: SReiter000@aol.com >>a malong is very similar to a girl scout "patch" sash - Isn't that a "sablay?" That's one Tag. word for it anyway...there are at least two other versions for the "malong": one is a pair of very, very baggy pants, and the other is a special piece of apparel used by "GROs" in "KTV" bars...wink, wink...
