While attending the L.E.O. academy in TN, I had an instructor who spoke about the names given to weapons. The topic was the PROSECUTOR something or another that, through legal entanglements, became the PR-24 baton. He made the statement that in today's marketing venues, if you were take a ball point pen and call it just that, then not very many people would purchase it. But, if you were to call it the MAGNUM ball point pen, people would break their necks to get it. Alas, names do not comfort us when paying for legal counsel, bail, fines, or serving time in corrections facility. A knife is a knife is a knife. Same with a firearm. If yes, or no, can I find out if his booklet on the FMA whip is still available. It was $5 plus p+p, if its still available what is the cost now? We in the UK are getting more Filipino's working as nurses (they're cheaper) and I should be getting a guy (Alvic Alon) in my class tomorrow. He's from Mindanao and will be doing a demo of his family style. I don't know any more than that at the moment, but I'll drop a line to give an overview of the style tomorrow. He was very pleased to find "our art" flourishing in the UK.
