I got a copy by getting in touch with Jim Harrison, you might do the same thing. I sent him a money order and a stamped self addressed envelope (it's amazing how many people write someone thinking that they are the only one, that ever writes. Postage adds up!) He runs a kickboxing school in Missoula MT. Jim Harrison c/o Sakura Martial Arts 255 Southwest Higgins AVE Missoula, MT 59803 I haven't talked to Jim in several years but this address was good then,('95 or'96) Although not into FMA he is a hell of a man who cannot only talk the talk he walks the walk and has done so for over a half a century. ------------------------------ From: "Kimberley Hobbs" Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2001 14:51:17 -0330 Subject: eskrima: Re: Total Gym V8 #26 I use the TotalGym and I really like it. I believe some sort of weight/resistance training is essential to my martial arts training and I hate going to the gym - mostly because I hate waiting to use equipment and with attending three martial arts classes a week, and teaching two, I just don't have the time. With the Total Gym I can "treat" myself to a really vigorous workout whenever I need one -it seems I need one pretty often since the Christmas binging ;-)- and whenever I feel lazy I can take it easy. I had an arm injury about two years ago ( guntings really do work!!!!) and I found the Total Gym helped in rehabilitating my arm. Hope I don't sound too much like an add for this machine, but like I said, I use it and I like it. It is simple to use, doesn't take up a lot of space, and is affordable. Cheers from snowy St. John's Newfoundland P.S Shoveling snow is even cheaper than the Total Gym !! _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ------------------------------ From: ABurrese@aol.com Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2001 19:08:24 EST Subject: eskrima: Re: Jim Harrison Gary, Would this be the same Jim Harrison that is friends with Bob Wall, Chuck Norris, etc.? He was one of the ten that Challenged Steven Segal a few years back in the magazines? Did a lot of competitions in the 70s? Was supposedly in some secret police squad back then too?
