Mr. de Leon didn't get it." Oh, puh-leeze. As several have e-mailed me privately, Mr. Hartman's lame attempt at humor, out of the blue, is just a thinly-disguised ploy to advance his datu agenda and keep his name in the limelight in the digest. I think it's about time that you (and the other cohorts) realize that the fault, dear sir, lies not in my sense of humor (or lack of it) but in your leader's character and agenda. Woof, Crafty Dog - --------------------------------- Divert Your Course This is the actual radio conversation of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995. Radio conversation released by the chief of naval operations, 10-10-95. CANADIANS: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision. AMERICANS: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the north to avoid a collision. CANADIANS: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision. AMERICANS: This is the captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course. CANADIANS: No, I say again, you divert YOUR course. AMERICANS: This is the Aircraft Carrier US LINCOLN, the second largest ship in the United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied with three Destroyers, three Cruisers and numerous support vessels. I DEMAND that you change your course 15 degrees north. I say again, that's one-five degrees north, or counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship. CANADIANS: This is a lighthouse. Your call. ------------------------------ From: "Vincent Bollozos" Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 14:58:40 Subject: eskrima: Re: Rickett's and there movies >2) The FMA really need someone in the movie industry pushing the art to >make >it look better. There is something glamours about the man "armed only with his fist". People like to see the underdog win and the guy without the weapon generally is. There intent is not to show that FMA are bad but to sell tickets. 3) Topher and Ronnie are karateka. Topher was a karateka before he was a arnista. We all know that MA movies are not based on reality so we should get upset when there shown in a bad light. Iwould like to respectfully solicit any comments on this as I have recently discovered that a friend's deceased maternal grandfather kept a 'buntot page' in their bedroom when he was still alive (...the 'buntot page' was later found in a wooden trunk but mysteriously disappeared - my friend suspects that one of his uncles who are 'latigo' specialists had a hand in its disappearance). Thank you very much. Kali! Kenjo __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
