In my own small way I had a taste of this. I had the great honor of meeting Guro Inosanto's father when he was 100 years old. Of the many languages that he spoke (7 I think it was) having learned English somewhat later in life when we met it was easier for us to converse in Spanish, which he had learned as a child. Woof, Crafty Dog PS: BTW Guro Inosanto continues his studies with Filipino masters. I know of two at the moment that he is training with. One of them for some 5 hours (not including the 4 hours of driving involved) every week. ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2001 19:44:08 PDT Subject: eskrima: . ------------------------------ End of Inayan_Eskrima/FMA-Digest V8 #436 **************************************** To unsubscribe from the eskrima-digest send the command: unsubscribe eskrima-digest -or- unsubscribe eskrima-digest your.old@address in the BODY (top line, left justified) of a "plain text" e-mail addressed to majordomo@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com.
