I'm interested in the rules of conduct for the knife vs knife fight which involves lashing opponents' left hands. This was depicted in "West Side Story" (?) and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (?). (I may be high) . If this fighting format is real, I'd like to know more about it. The format has solved the problem of opponent avoiding entry into blade range. If you feel like laughing at my question, go ahead. ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2001 20:35:29 PDT Subject: eskrima: Risk Only those who risk going too far will ever know just how far they can go. ------------------------------ From: "Darren Daoust" Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2001 23:54:41 -0600 Subject: eskrima: Blade Fuller Debate Yesterday the light weight verses strength issue of blade fullers was well addressed by our engineering enlightened members. I believe the bloodletting & suction reduction side should be heard from. Anyone willing to adventure into the far corners of their refrigerator to find that 6 month old jello, then dig up that 50 year old USMC Mk 2 "KABAR" they have stashed in the garage ? With the proper tools at hand, this debate could be settled once & for all. Let the experiment begin ! Raymond Morrison, 23, of Dracut, did not attempt to breach security and apparently had no plans to fly anywhere, said Phil Orlandella, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs the airport. But when Morrison walked up to three terminals Sunday wearing a cowboy hat, with the swords protruding from the waistband of his jeans, passengers became frightened. "He caused a ruckus. People were panicking and running away," said state police Sgt. Edward Principe. Morrison was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in district court. My question is: was he arrested for disorderly conduct because of the swords or because he was wearing a cowboy hat? ------------------------------ From: Ray Terry Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2001 6:58:51 PDT Subject: eskrima: . ------------------------------ End of Inayan_Eskrima/FMA-Digest V8 #467 **************************************** To unsubscribe from the eskrima-digest send the command: unsubscribe eskrima-digest -or- unsubscribe eskrima-digest your.old@address in the BODY (top line, left justified) of a "plain text" e-mail addressed to majordomo@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com.
