Darn, now that is a bitch... :) The terrorists are hoping for just the above. If it makes your skin crawl you are reacting exactly the way they are hoping you would. I trained with him regularly while I lived in Seattle and have kept in touch with him since I moved out of the Northwest. In my opinion he is an excellent teacher, a gifted and graceful athlete and a loyal student of Guro Inosanto and Ajarn Chai Sirisute. He holds, deservedly so, very high rankings under Guro Inosanto: Kali: Full Instructor under Dan Inosanto Jun Fan: Full Instructor under Dan Inosanto Maphilindo Silat: Associate Instructor under Dan Inosanto Muay Thai: Associate Instructor under Chai Sirisute He cannot hold his liquor. (We have pictures...) Seriously though, I like the fact that Chris has remained as hungry to extend his own knowledge as when I met him nearly 2 decades ago. (Man, it makes me feel old.) He has produced some excellent students and teachers over the years--plus a couple of pretty bad-assed fighters. Guro Chris regularly hosts Dan Inosanto, Chai Sirisute, Erik Paulsen and others for seminars at his school. Regards, Terry Tippie Thai Boxing Association of the USA Pacifica, CA USA P.S.: Bruce Jolly was the guy I was thinking about on San Juan Island under Guro Ted Lucay Lucay. He is on a couple of Guro Ted's old video tapes (In the knife section I think). He's good. >From: Tom Meadows >Date: Thu, 15 Nov 2001 21:25:22 -0800 >Subject: eskrima: Chris Clarke >RE: >"Steve, > >I trained for a while w/ Chris Clarke @ NW Kali >in Federal Way Wa, just south of Seattle.
