It works well as a human shaped heavy bag. Bob doesn't have a crotch to smash. --__--__-- Message: 2 From: Pngreiff@aol.com Date: Tue, 12 Feb 2002 06:33:19 EST To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] Re: Bob training maniken Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net I have one too, and its a great supplement to a tire dummy. My kids are learning to refine their striking techniques with it as well. The previously mention eye techniques, throat/ neck targeting, leades to head manipulations, and "hacks" and "chops" and elbows, can be precisely targeted and applied. My Bobs "styling" a head bandana and Carhart work jacket (the preferred local thug clothes, or so I'm told). Be Safe! I do not expect to see it posted...nor responded to on open forum. Lets say I'm totally confused. I don't post alot..mind my own manners.. and I responded to a question about trainers-training knives.. Since I'm credited in the knife world with developing identical -functional trainers, getting others to use them..Emerson, Benchmade my original ones with REKAT, and then of course SPYDERCO..since I used to make training knives @ my company DRAGON TOOTH which were called by TACTICAL KNIVES Magazine as "the best trainig knives available"..Since I am Spyderco's director of MBC, the developer of their training knives and all the functional DRONES.. I would have thought that my simple response was well within the parameters of my knowledge.. Since I also am the Chief Instructor to the Advanced Instructors @ the DOJ-USBP and the use of training knives and impact tool versions again. I thought I might be adding something to the mix.. what happens? I get a "this is an inappropriate response and the moderator will not accept it." All; because my post said DRONES are not knives? That I said good things about Les & Benchmade? Spyderco? I have a full legal team behind me thatreviews mre and what are knives and what are Drones and yet my post is unacceptable? I consider the response from your digest inappropriate not my posting. have a great day Ray Bram cc. Hope that is ok. > I get a "this is an inappropriate response and the moderator will not accept > it." So again with this new system, I have several options when a new msg comes in. It can be approved, discarded, rejected or defered. e.g. things like spam are simply discarded. 99% of the posts are approved, that is my default action. A handful have been rejected. About the only ones I've rejected back lately are those where people have not updated the subject line, per the several requests sent out. Farther down in the reject msg you received it said that, asked you to resend after updating the subject line, but it probably didn't jump out at you. Sorry. So, in summary, it had nothing to do with you or what was said in the post.
