Sorry, but that is highly inappropriate. This material should be available to all, not just LEOs. The LEOs that I train, and train with, completely agree. All, assuming they are not felons, have the right to learn this material. Ray Terry raymail@hpwsrt.cup.hp.com --__--__-- Message: 2 From: "Travis F." I saw the results of an M16 that was fired with an obstructed barrel. I just don't see any harm in disagreeing with him because of his age/experience. Any knowledge is subject to question. End of discussion. I think the Glock is an extremely "user friendly" automatic handgun, for the reasons the post cited. (One of the aspects that I particularly like about Glocks is the ease with which a sight picture can be attained.) However, I started with a 1911 A1 45 (Colt) and never saw the need to switch to any other gun. The Colt's narrower grip width is decidedly easier on my hands - even in 9mm the Glock just feels harder to shoot. This is just apples and oranges... Was it Mae West that said, "Too much of a good thing is... wonderful!"? I have found the Glock an easy pistol to master and shoot in most combat courses ive hot on. But it'could just be me....
