Not only can he > show you how to hurt, he can show you how to heal! You shouldn't discredit your teacher by giving false claims. Other instructors also teach healing, Dr. Gyi being just one example. When I saw him in NYC, he taught the Kukri one day, healing on the next day. The Garimot system is totally of Filipino origin so therefore my claim is accurate. Gat Puno's knowledge, skill , and fighting prowess were developed in the Philippines under the guidance of his late father, Felipe "Garimot" Baet and other master instructors. For a little more information on Buno you can visit http://www.garimot.com/harimaw_buno.shtml And if you would like even more information on Buno you can purchase Gat Puno's book that he just published (gatpuno@aol.com) . I also have a very brief demo of Buno on the CD of different masters that I made available almost 2 years ago. Ray, I must confess that in over the 10 years I've been with Gat Puno I have never seen him or heard him talk about firearms training. However I have seen him on numerous occasions show defenses against an armed (gun) assailant and I know that he once served as a bodyguard for the mayor of his town. So, to avoid giving out the wrong info I will defer this question to him. He basically said what someone wrote in a previous digest. But if you do choose to view it let it motivate you to train harder and longer, to overcome the types that would do something like this. Stay safe. =========================================================================== To Whom It May Concern, After great deliberation on behalf of Pro Hosters and myself personally, we have decided to post the Daniel Pearl video on http://prohosters.com/pearl First, I would like to offer our most sincere condolences to the Pearl family, our hearts go out to them in their time of grief. >From the beginning, it was never Pro Hosters' intention to censor legal content displayed on one of its or one of its customers' sites. We did not force ogrish.com to take down the content. We merely presented the facts as they unraveled themselves to the owners of ogrish.com. We alerted ogrish.com to the FBI's insistence to take the content down. Ogrish.com made the only decision whether the content would stay in place or be deleted. They decided they would take it down. Although they decided to take it down, it was the FBI's intimidating requests to take it down that finally drove them to remove the content. Pro Hosters feels that we must stand up and protect our customer's right to have this video shown. Yes, the video is horrible and macabre in nature however it is every person's right to view this video if they CHOOSE to do so. This video shows the hand of terrorism that each of us faces, and shows the real (tragic though it may be) outcome of terrorists' actions. In my opinion it should not be hidden or swept under the carpet, it should be available to anyone who chooses to watch it. We have a right to see what terrorism can and will do to our nation, if it is not eradicated at the source. The beauty of our country is that any American can deem what he wishes to be morally right or wrong based on his opinion and his judgment. It is for this reason that Pro Hosters has chosen to release the video in its entirety to the public. Under the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution all Americans have the right to free speech and freedom of press, whether you or I deem it moral or immoral. We thank all of our supporters and the ACLU for standing behind us. Sincerely, Theodore D. Hickman Jr. Pro Hosters L.L.C. I've iced it yesterday and today and am going to try either tiger balm red or zheng gui shui to remove the swelling. Anybody got any ideas for a better treatment and any exercises for it to speed recovery. The knuckle is currently as thick as my thumb! Looks like left hand only practice this weekend.
