Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Dear Elrik, No problem. I know what you mean. I was just paranoid. Anyway, I have no problem with what Grand Tuhon Gaje said. Indeed, foreigners would have a better time training with GT Gaje since he has all the time to train them (while my teachers only teach a small group including myself, and are not so keen on teaching more people, given their hectic schedules and many commitments at work and business). I don't know if their website is still OK, but please take the time to check out http://w3.to/graciephil.com for their temporary website. ===== Earn $$ just by receiving and reading email! http://www.resource-a-day.net/member/index.cgi?Brandon96 Yahoo! Finally I dont have to step forwards to clarify this. I also wanted to tell everyone, that Eskrima is not only exist in Visaya, there so many claim, that the Eskrima in Visaya, Arnis in Tagalog and Kali in Mindanao. Arnis is the most common known, Esgrima or Escrima is the second Kali are un-known word in any Filipino dialects. Victor Rivera, of West Palm Beach, Florida, sponsored me for a seminar and was an incredible host and friend. Thanks again, Victor, for your gracious hospitality (and especially for the Paso Fino show in Miami). >> I have had the incredible pleasure of having Victor as a partner for the last ten years or so at the Inosanto, Bustillo, Hartsell, Vunak, Canete, seminars. He has a fighters mind from boxing for over thirty years, Alan Lee's closed kwoon sessions in his youth, along with kickboxing battles with legendary Paul Vizzio students. I still remember, teaching a chosen few with Victor at a boxing gym, starting with boxing, then Thai, then Kali, then silat, and finally delivering the students along with the two of us on the mats with our BJJ teacher. Lots of fun, and a FIRST class guy.
