They have, for example, some Short Fist discs; this is similar to, but different from Wing Chun. I got a really good wooden dummy disc from them. They ship to Europe at a very reasonable rate too. Find them at: http://www.plumpub.com/ Jon There's nothing more dangerous than a blunt knife! http://www.geocities.com/jonbroster -- Personalised email by http://another.com --__--__-- Message: 3 Date: Fri, 27 Sep 2002 07:38:40 -0700 (PDT) From: Harold Evans To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] RE:Arnis/Kali schools in Triangle Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Hi Chris, My name is Harold Evans. My instructor, Guro David Ng teaches Modern Arnis in Raleigh, NC. He holds a fourth degree in Modern Arnis and was a personal student of the Late Grandmaster Remy Presas. He is also on the board of directors for IMAF, INC. He teaches a stand-alone Modern Arnis curriculum as well as combined Sil-lum Kung-fu/Arnis curriculum. We have various Kali/Arnis practitioners with various backgrounds, including like yourself, Inosanto and JKD Kali as well as an Aikido instructor and practitioners. He will be hosting GM Bobby Toboada on October 26th, 2002 as well as conducting an four-day Modern Arnis camp (IMAF, INC) on April 3rd,4th,5th, and 6th 2003. Another side benefit of training with my instructor is you get invited to a satellite group of Arnis players that I organize who meet occasionally in the Triangle.
