I got back from a business trip Wednesday afternoon and saw some of the UFC / Zuffa crew and fighters including Pat Miletich and his brother though he isn't on the advertised card anyway in Green Airport (Providence). Randy Couture vs. Ricco Rodriguez is the headliner - looks to be a good event! The 2nd Annual Mojo Kwan Moo Do Seminar and Grits Festival was a success. The funnest thing tho, Georgia grits taste very similar to Mississippi grits. Wonder why? Seemed like all had fun. I know I did. Thanks to Master Richards for putting it on and to Mr. Clarke for putting me up. I wanted to mention that Steve Braun, Scott Anderson, and (I think) Bob Burgee also teach FMA around there, more up in the Columbia, MD area (1/2 hour or so N of DC). Bob has some info on his website at http://www.trainingblades.com/mdvatraining.htm which may be helpful. And yes, Bob is the guy behind Edges2, making some of the best training blades you can get ANYwhere! (seriously - he does great work!) Not sure if he has an active club, because I know he's really busy keeping up with the blade orders. later, andy -- Andrew Maddox, found at: madsox@radix.net Today's Bartism: I will not get very far with this attitude. --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list Eskrima@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima http://eskrima-fma.net Old digest issues are available via ftp://ftp.martialartsresource.com.
