I would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight. While there was a police presence at the last one held at the park, anyone who was there will attest to the fact that the days’ activities were not hampered in any way by the police, and the event completed as scheduled without incident. I happened to know a police lieutenant who was there and spoke to him. I asked why he was there, if they were going to close them down. He said that they could not stop the gatherings, as it was their constitutional right to freedom of expression. The police presence was in response to a spectator being threatened with bodily harm during the previous gathering, and they were their just as security, making sure that the spectator wasn’t threatened/attacked (again). The only thing the police stopped was the illegal hocking of wears, as the vendor tables normally set up there done so without the proper vendor permits. The decision to move the gatherings to a private venue was done strictly for selfish and monetary reasons. I, as is my legal right, video taped the last event. DBMA want to keep a strangle hold on any video of the event, so DBMA decided to move the event somewhere they could control the video taping. If anyone doubts this, they can contact the chief of the Hermosa beach police department and/or the city attorney of Hermosa Beach. thank you steve reiter --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Maybe you computer guros out there can tell us. Is this virus program automatically putting together two separate parts of two different addresses it picks up on the web or does this require the hacker himself to do the work? I have been saved several times in the past few weeks by Norton anti-virus from the worm-bugbear virus before it did any damage, but I would like to keep my address (or parts of it) from being used this way. I know some people add "nospam" to there email address with a line about removing it to deter spam. Can anything be done on a website like the one I run, which lists my email address, to help guard it from use by a virus program?
