The art had a weird name but the forms practised made it look like variation of karate. The head instructor demonstrated some hard-man techniques (holding a breeze block on his shoulders and having someone break the breeze block with a sledge hammer). The man looked like he knew his stuff until..... ..he demonstrated sword techniques. He started with a nice one where he is blind-folded and someone lobs an apple to his left. The instructor turned to his left and cut the apple (don't know how many takes that took....;-). Then he had a long stick suspended and he cut that. He looked like he was cutting wood with an axe. He then decided to finish with a flourish and twirled his sword before sheathing it. Unfortunately he missed and poked himself in the leg. Couldn't stop laughing after that....
