Of course those two gentlemen are not favorites to some in the chain of command but it's more of a reason to read. But please I do not claim to be the top authority on Modern Arnis. Yes I am one of the early ones, here in the U.S. But I was also introduced to Villabra's (sp) Kali and Pekiti Tersia Arnis ( pronounced ARNEZ back then mid to late 70s) but I am far from being even the lowest level of authority in either art. And yes Remy quite often said one thing and did another, and as I stated I beleave he was still with GM Moncal in 1957 and yes Remy was 21 in 1957 Thanks Rocky --__--__-- Message: 4 From: "Mike McNally" To: Date: Mon, 11 Nov 2002 19:19:30 -0700 Subject: [Eskrima] fma in Phoenix Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net I have relocated to Phoenix and would like to know of any fma teachers you would reccommend in the valley. I think if the tapes encourages anyone to dig deeper and explore the more traditional aspects of the KK training, as well as how they apply to whatever art they are already training in, then I am happy that I was able to share my training.
