Mike was always designing new school logos and this one was one of the more elaborate ones with a helmut as a centerpiece. He's going through the meanings of the various items on the logo. After he paused for a minute I asked him what one particular design meant. He smiled and said, "That's mainly for you Rob, don't get so cocky that you hang yourself." The helmuts chin strap was attached to the helmut and down at the bottom of the chin strap was a noose. Point taken. Another moment of enlightenment happened quite frequently, it went sort of like this: Whack, Thud, Thud. Whack, Thud, Thud. Whack, Thud, Thud. Whack, Whack, Thud. Whack, Whack, Thud. Whack, Whack, Thud. Whack, Whack, Whack. Seemed like those backyard moments flowed in about every week for me. :) Ray Terry rterry@idiom.com --__--__-- _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list Eskrima@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima http://eskrima-fma.net Old digest issues are available via ftp://ftp.martialartsresource.com.
