The "technique" was mine and it was one that i liked a lot. but after several years of it i was getting sick of it. my preference was holding me back. the input i received from my instructor and friends was exactly what they had been saying all along. only i couldnt get more out of training because i was still hanging on to this one technique. hell i am pretty good at it . it makes me look good. heaven help me if i never arrive at that point in a real altercation though. coz its a dead pattern that requires that particular situation in order to be effective. how many black belts have their butts kicked because they cant adapt??? i have heard of several.! Its important to always be changing the movements in order to get more. but it was too simple a concept to be relevant to a more advanced situation ( i have to laugh at that one!!!) i hope i make sense. ive been known to complicate things. sincerely, gord --------------------------------- Post your free ad now!
