Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net No one could have said it any better than Garrote Olisi Eskrimador. Very well said. It puts to rest any doubts in the minds of all my fellow Flips lurking the Digest email group about the authenticity and indigenous character of the empty hands aspect of the FMA we take so much pride in as our very own martial heritage. ===== Earn $$ just by receiving and reading email! http://www.resource-a-day.net/member/index.cgi?Brandon96 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? As to using "Modern Arnis 80", there is no conflict that I can see.  Your explaination is credible and you are being respectful of your traiing and your late Grand Master, by not going of and "creating" your own "new" art  under some new title. Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Greetings Everyone, Thanks again for all your advice and ideas. I am looking forward to my trip. I only hope that I can see everything I can. I will definitely be on the look out for any stickfighting going on. Sincerely grateful, Jason :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew R Breton" To: Sent: Saturday, January 25, 2003 5:22 PM Subject: Re: [Eskrima] Any Advice Anyone? : Hi Jason, : : About the weapons souvenier: I finally succummed and got a cheap war : club rip off.
