You are right. This show aired live around 1962 to 1963 out of Channel 7 in Quezon City. This was during owner Bob Stewart's heyday when he had several live shows going, like Dancetime with Chito Feliciano. Or was this before your time? The place is peaceful and secure, and is no more dangerous than what you can expect from any other major city. It is certainly far away from the violence in Mindanao if that's what you're concerned about. BTW, if you're anywhere in Manila, you might want to check out one of Bobby Tabimina's Balintawak sessions. His website is balintawak.s5.com or you can email me privately at ginom@info.com.ph He doesn't accept new students right now, but is always happy to give fellow eskrimadors a view of Balintawak as he learned it from Anciong, etc., especially someone who has interest in the Visayan styles. Just keep yourself aware and be polite and you'll be fine. The unrest is in Mindanao, which is the big island in the south and far, far away from having any effect on Cebu; other than causing a negative perception in the minds of foreigners. I work in Manila but our people in our office regularly fly to Cebu for working vacations. In fact, we envy the people who do go. If you scuba dive, do try to work in a trip to Bohol or Malapasqua. Have a good trip to my country. Kind regards. Rafael __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
