Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net > Just thought I'd send out a sincere thank you. Your post has generated a slew of responses...all od which I have enjoyed reading and all of which I think present valid points (though I may or may not agree with them). And it's nice to see sucg a lively discussion that hasn't (as yet) degenerated into name calling, "I'm right your wrong" malarkey. And as always, I am inspired by the very fact that a former "thug named 'Animal'" can so eloquently explain himself with a sound basis in current psychological "truths". To everyone else who has replied, thanks for the reading...I am continually amazed and inspired through your ideas and thoughts. Peace. > Aloha, > Roan Kalani Grimm You're welcome. While I believe that there are some questions that the answer that you come up with aren't as important as the fact that you asked the question...I spend a lot of time looking back into things that I have moved beyond or away from, just in case there was something that I missed that will help me understand and teach better. It's kind of like why I went back into bouncing after I had started writing. I was double checking my theories (and refining them)rather than coming up with theories from memory. I discovered when I got hit what I had overlooked or forgotten. :D BTW...for you folks in Europe I'm going to be in Koln May 17 and 18 http://www.nononsenseselfdefense.com/eventschedule.html It's the open class, the rest of the trip will be police related --__--__-- Message: 3 From: "Steve VanHarn" To: Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 16:12:31 -0500 Subject: [Eskrima] Re:Training Gear/Full Contact Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Pak Vic asked: Need some help Need a good source for Doce Pares Head gear and Vest in LA area Ours are getting old and torn up.(Too much tumping I geuss) Let me know were I may find these fine items Thanks Pak Vic Try Canete's equipment site. http://eskrimador.com/ Steve Van Harn Arnis Sikaran - Jornales System --__--__-- Message: 4 Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 03:12:08 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?gil=20dureza?= To: Eskrima@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] inquiring to everybody who knows our history Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Gud am fellow brethen in arnis..
