Well, I learned in Inayan Serrada in the first lessons (and I know that I still don't know much in Inayan Serrada) that the stick is a placeholder for a blade. And even when he didn't spend much time he should know, with his knowledge. Hi Stephane, hope everything is ok in france. Much greetings from Aachen. Is this common in USA? It all depends. The laws vary quite a bit from state to state. When I lived in Florida, my Concealed Weapon License allowed me to carry darned near any weapon. Handgun, ASP, stun gun, OC, folding knife, butterfly knife, fixed blade knife, or even a switchblade (which I did carry). Machineguns are the only thing specifically prohibited from being carried in Florida with a license. Here in Pennsylvania, my license only allows me to carry a handgun. The knife laws in many states can be a risky patchwork that varies from county to county and even city to city. With all that said, there is at least a tendency among some police and prosecuters to look the other way on prosecuting a person who is licensed to legally carry a handgun, but the knife clipped to their pocket violates a local ordinance.
