There are definite great blade folks, that have great methods in doing blades. The best are looking down on the vanquished, and that is most likely not in our vision. And sparring with aluminum or wood blade does not constitute the expertise one is trying to achieve but a false sense of strength. That strength can be tested at any time in any situation in a street altercation. If that times come, only the person claiming can know of his or her training survived The best? well who is to know, all can be rated as good who play with the blade in their everyday practice. Until that time of reality comes, it is only a guess so we practice, practice and if what we do gives the confidence, then may that be in what a person seeks.
