Often, dropping the price > doesn't increase the number of copies purchased. At least for me it does. Ordering tapes/DVDs from non-EU country can be very expensive in Finland, because of the customs and everything, for example ordering the tapes I mentioned cost me almost $200 all in all, not to mention the trouble of getting them through customs which took me several hours and a lot of walking between the offices I was required to go to in order to get all the papers. Not very encouraging considering future purchases. Still, I think good tapes (or DVDs) are worth the money. > >Sadly, none of this still removes the fact that there will always > >be someone who settles for a copy. > > Generally, that's ok. About half of my collection is money wasted on tapes > that didn't match my expectations. Too true. Good recommendations and non-biased comments is the est advertising for this kind of tapes. Also, speaking on international terms, one has to remember that local laws may be different from the ones in the seller's country. For example, in Finland it is legal to take copies of tapes for personal, non-profit use, even for family members or a few friends. Of course, taking free copies for students is not allowed even here. Anyway, if I have a choice of copying some tapes or DVDs for free vs. the option of paying lots of money for them, I admit I am tempted. So, in my opinion, the best option is to give something extra that only comes with original tapes/DVDs, like instruction books, etc. - Marko --__--__-- Message: 2 Date: Sat, 16 Aug 2003 07:14:48 -0700 (PDT) From: Jye nigma To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: [Eskrima] Workout Routine Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Hey everyone, does anyone have a martial arts workout routine they follow everyday? I am the only one using this title Gat Puno as aTagalog practitioner, I want to be called on this tile that came from the old Tagalog.
