Yes, those are all true... if one can control the mind well then he will have no problem controlling the body. Philosophically in the Platonian school of thought, physical matter is imperfect while the form is perfect. The physical body of the person is imperfect while the soul is perfect. The mind of the human being is the equal of the soul. In application of that philosophy, the Tibetan monks who go out in the night under harsh environment wearing nothing but their underwear is a perfect example. A human being experiences pain, heat or cold if his physical body is subjected to certain situations and if he lets his brain interpret the electrical impulses sent by the physical body then the person will really feel pain, cold or heat. But once the person manages to control his mind and manages to sort out and reject the negative impulses sent by the physical body to his brain then he will really feel invincible. Try this, prick yourself with a needle and try to assert in your mind that it is painless and you feel nothing or subject yourself to the harshest training possible and assert in your mind that your body is imperfect and it can go farther, that you are not tired and that the feeling of being tired are all just in the mind, later you will conquer your physical limitation and you will really feel later on that you seem to be tireless. ===== N.F.A 1140461-7 GEN.RED __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
