I guess that's just the Way of a Warrior;walk in peace and always be prepared for combat. Ps. The attackers were Moroccan;making them either african or arabic, not spanish. "Francisco j. The filipino was going into the underground in Madrid, Spain when two moroccan muggers assaulted him, he defended himself with a knife. The filipino man has been arrested. _________________________________________________________________ Charla con tus amigos en línea mediante MSN Messenger: http://messenger.microsoft.com/es _______________________________________________ Eskrima mailing list, 1700 members Eskrima@martialartsresource.net Copyright 1994-2003: Ray Terry and Martial Arts Resource Standard disclaimers apply http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/eskrima --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? I trained with you a while back when you worked with Tim and Steve Peterson. I had you come up and do a weekend seminar in Wausau me also. I have continued to train and would like to work with you again. I see that Tom Sipin is conducting a seminar in November. Is this something that I can attend? If this is possible how would I register or is it ok to show up. I would also need to know where in Appleton his school is located. I would also like to get hooked up with the federation you are with. As you can see I have joined the email group. Thank you in advance for any information that you could provide. I look forward to hear from you. sincerely, Shawn McCarthy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nate Defensor" To: "Eskrima Digest" Sent: Monday, October 06, 2003 7:07 AM Subject: [Eskrima] Tom Sipin (Doce Pares) for November 8th & 9th Appleton, WI seminar > >Wisconsin Seminar: Nov. 8-9, 2003 , with Maha Guro Nate, Defensor > >(Defensor > >Method), Magingsursuro Jason Inay (Inayan Eskrima), Gat Puno Abon > >"Garimot" > >Baet (Garimot Arnis/Harimaw Buno) and my apology I forget the name of > >the Doce Pares Master( Doce Pares Eskrima) Guro Nate pls fill me in. > >For Info: email - Kevin Schoenebeck ( KSCHOENE@oneidanation.org) or > >Contact : Maha Guro Nate Defensor > >> > > Tom Sipin is the name of the Doce Pares Instructor who will be in the Appleton, Wisconsin FMA Camp being organized by Kevin Schoenebeck (KSCHOENE@oneidanation.org). I've seen fragments in movies and even a live performance in Hawaii ten years ago. The only video I've been able to find is a Nike commercial with a New Zealand rugby team. It's a great clip, but I'd like to see the entire dance. Of course, I'd like to see it performed by someone that really understands the essence, not just someone that makes it look good. You know, function over form. Thanks ! Gints --__--__-- Message: 5 From: To: Date: Wed, 8 Oct 2003 21:34:39 -0400 Subject: [Eskrima] Qualified Martial Arts Instructors Wanted..
