I was told that the U.S. has hired Gurkha's as private security for one of our Embassy's in the Middle East, and the Embassy is in a very hot zone. The gentleman who told me this info said the Gurka's only carry a side arm (handgun) and their Kukri's and with out a doubt, that is the most secure embassy in the world!!!! I work with a man who is from India and he said the Indian Govt takes care of ALL the medical needs for the Gurkha's to ensure they produce many male children to supply for their own regiments.
