They should last you quite a while. Bot --- Fred O wrote: > I just recently purchased a bundle of sticks. I > thought I was getting a > good deal when I saw the price, then I got the > sticks. Then I slowly sand down the nodes, just try to sand down the sharp edges. If you don't have a Dremel, you can wrap some fine grit sandpaper around a piece of wood, like a 1"X1", as long is it has square edged. The main objective is just to take the sharp edges off the nodes. Also, round the ends of the sticks some also. I'd suggest wearing a good dust mask also. Hope this helps, Sam --__--__-- Message: 3 From: "Don Brinkerhoff" To: Eskrima@martialartsresource.net Date: Tue, 25 Nov 2003 14:02:02 +0000 Subject: [Eskrima] FMA Magazine Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Does anyone have a subscription card for FMA Magazine? I would love to get a subscription, but the only magazine I've seen was missing it's cards. It was a very good conversation. In short, I explained to Rob that I did not have Danny Paolo in mind when I wondered about the name "Vee Do Kwan." I explained to him that it might be someone that I knew. We are both cool now. Just one of those unfortunate situations where the written word didn't quite convey the intention of what I was saying.
