Im an FMA instructor under Ron Balicki and a Bullwhip instructor under Tom Meadows. The bulk of my Kali is based on the Inosanto/Lacoste system. Feel free to email me privately. It goes to the heart of being able to "walk as a warrior", or as I believe, drive like a warrior as well. How many of us are proficient in the use of vehicles in a tactical fashion? Personally, I am sadly limited in this. I cannot do a bootlegger or handbrake turn or ram a baricade. I do leave a space between me and the car in front in a traffic queue, particularly at the lights so I cannot get boxed in. I have sort of attempted to learn the "tactical exit" from a vehicle (as taught by Jim Gover in his excellent videos). I do recommend, if you are my age and size, that you do this in an isolated spot where neighbours do not die laughing watching your efforts. Does anyone on this list teach the cool manoeuvres mentioned above? Is anyone self-taught? Did you find it difficult? How many vehicles did you go through before you became proficient? Serves the morons right who stand in front of a vehicle and attempt to car jack the driver. Unfortunatly for the bad guys, your students reacted the complete opposite of how they expected them to react. I would loved to have seen the facial expressions of both humps before they got a rude awakening.
