I was told to use 400 grit sand paper, which I bought, the wet/dry variety used on auto bodies. But the knives just do not want to take a decent edge. Can anyone give me some assistance with this? Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season. Remember self defense applies to automobile driving too, there are a lot of bad drivers during the silly season, so remember defensive driving is a must. Lets keep everyone's family safe and happy. Remember real Eskrimadors don't drink and drive!! Very well stated and I can agree with you on vitually every point that you have raised. There are far to many martial wanna-bes, whose real level of combat has been confined to the training hall and the beer-drinking palaces where lies are often passed off as good conversation. Life can be quite rough and tumbled. There are people who have had to face real adversity more than once or twice and your comments have struck a resounding tone for me. No disrespect to anyone one else on this forum is intended. Thanks for adding your perspective. >-- __--__-- > >Message: 6 > >From: Phil Elmore >The problem is, there are a LOT of fools out there. There most certinly are a LOT of FOOLS out there. This faceless, hidden medium, the internet also allows a number of this ball-less wonders to offer up a lot of crap as they hide behind their keyboards and screens. The problem is that we can not allow the fools to run the show. One reason that I do not post too often is because I prefer to read. Thanks for your post.
