Perhaps the diameter of crack > pipes could be similarly legislated. My point stands. Limit the size of shot glasses or the number you are allowed to drink and you will alter "what" people choose to drink in their small, limited shot glasses. For bullets this has resulted in a trend toward smaller guns and superior ammunition (hydro-shock, prefrag, etc...) that can do more damage with a single round. With the exception of those actually making the laws, most understood Brady to have zero real world effect and certainly not the effects that law makers were looking for. That's why parts of it are up for re-evaluation to see if anything was accomplished and, if not, let it fade off into the sunset. -Steve --__--__-- Message: 2 From: "Jennifer and Joseph Marana" To: Date: Mon, 12 Jan 2004 14:39:48 -0800 Subject: [Eskrima] Sayoc in Southern California Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net For those in or around Southern California interested in Sayoc Kali... It's even small enough to be hidden in your hand once drawn out. If you're concerned about the stopping power you can use it with a Glaser safety slug. That gives you about 100% transference on target and still won't penetrate walls. If you're at home and really want it as a defensive round you can candycane load with a FMJ and Glaser. But I don't have any experience with this. I just heard from a friend of a friend of a friend... you know. There's an Al Queda intel briefing in Sacramento, California on Wed 28 Jan 7-10 PM, put on by some ex-Special Forces guys from InsightsTraining.com, a tactical shooting school in Washington State. They have a video captured in Afghanistan showing how Al Queda trains, including how to attack US police officers. They play the video, then stop and critique what the AQ operatives are doing right, and wrong, then play some more, etc. -------------------------------------------------- InSights Training Center Al Qaeda Seminar AL QAEDA: TRAINING AND TACTICS OF INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM A review and analysis of advanced Al Qaeda terrorist training and tactical methodology. Comments from John: I have gained access to about 40 minutes of digital clips from the Al Qaeda training video that I previously reviewed. These clips have been made available to me for the purpose of analysis and training guidance, with the condition that I not distribute or copy them in any form or fashion. Accordingly, I have produced a 3-hour training seminar that will give you the opportunity to view and discuss these tapes. However, instead of round shape, some of them are shaped like a traditional Chinese lock. >From what I can remember, there are certain forms designed for this kettlebell look-alike.
