Support? Exactly, no aspersions cast towards Guro I. I really don't see why participation on a seminar should be viewed in such religious terms? To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net LOL, not the best fighter??? I wouldn't mess with you James. We who know, know the truth. And we know him more than from 1 seminar, where people are excited to see him. He is after all the most low profile celebrity I have ever seen. I think the original writer will rethink throwing out a name like Guro Inosanto and cultish on the same page ... thats a quick way to discredit/hurt yourself no matter who you are. My personal input... since I know him as my instructor personally (as does James): There are MANY instructors I have had the honor of training with. It is always an honor to be taught by the best in the world. James, you and I are very fortunate to have trained with who we have. There is a natural respect that comes with that yet, I would consider them mentors only. From my personal heart, I would consider Guro Inosanto a mentor and role model. I have very few role models, less than 5. If I could be 1% of what he is as a person and martial artist... I would change the world like he has. Still working on it. Your average bubba is usually impressed with those in the the arts these days.
