My total was $172.50 which includes shipping. The shipping is a little more expensive, but considering the cost of the equipment it's still a great deal. The only catch when dealing with him is he only accepts payment by wire transfer or Western Union. This was the reason he ultimatly ship the items before I paid. I didn't want to take the risk of my students losing their money on some scam. So I sent him an email saying I want to only order my gear first, which are the items I mentioned above. He replied by saying he wanted to prove he is legit and that his stuff is high quaility. He offered to ship them first. The gear arrived 3 days later. He is legit, the cost of shipping is still good because the gear prices aren't inflated. I went to western unions website to pay for my gear and gear for 3 students. Our total cost was $689. The cost to send the money using WU was $56. I also want to mention that I am in no way affiliated with this gentlemen. It just upset me tremendously when I began searching for places to buy FMA gear and the prices were ridiculous. I found most people selling the helmet for $90 to $105 bucks. And the body armor had the same cost as the helmet. I also found that the FMA uniforms were discountinued. Centuryfitness use to sale them as well as others. They all stopped. The places I did find were selling them for $65 for only the top. Well everyone if you have had the same problem as me then I'M TELLING TO GO TO HIS SITE and ORDER what you need. Everyone that participates in the FMA needs gear and we shouldn't have to pay inflated prices becuase it's so hard to find it. All I ask is when you contact his please tell him Anthony Johnson sent you. I get no money for this, but I told him I would let evryone I can know about him and how he can help them continue their growth in the FMA. --__--__-- Message: 2 From: "Danny Anderson" To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Date: Sat, 21 Feb 2004 21:38:33 +0000 Subject: [Eskrima] Re: New Modern Arnis Book! Why isn't it real unless it's a stranger? By far most homicides are committed by acquaintances. So are the overwhelming majority of aggravated assaults and sexual assaults. And a substantial minority of robberies. "Stranger danger" is the exception. Respect? Who knows? Frankly, who cares? As soon as I wake up to the fact that there's a potentially criminal encounter going on I'm going to try and convince him that I'm way more trouble than he's interested in. Maybe that means respect. But other than that it's not relevant. I have not had a chance to check my email since friday, so this is the first time in three days. I am sorry to inform you that if you have arrived Friday evening, the exhibit would have been over by then. (Tenrec on this list has asked already, and I have told him also it was until Friday only) However, if you are interested, I can ask the students at UP Batangan about where they got their materials for the exhibit, including the owner of the 16 ft balisong and forward it to you. You may end up having to visit Barrio Balisong in Batangas, though. Regards, Bot __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
