They have some interesting "sticky/soft" knife counters. After watching the movies, you'll notice most of the extra graceful "dummies" are students of the system. in particular , check out the movie clips in the VLADIMIR VASILIEV CHICAGO SEMINAR March 7th section. Just a couple of comments: 1) The "noodle trick" - the principle sounds similar what I saw in Bob Orlando's videos. Do you ever do it one-handed like he does (with the change in direction, rotating the head left or right and than changing to pushing straight back) or do you find that it does not work so good? I was shown a neat trick as an extension of this technique which consists of covering the recipient's eyes and "stirring the pot". It is quite remarkable how quickly the balance goes... 2) Love the money trick! I have found that if you want to freeze people for a second or so talking to them in one of the lesser known languages is quite successful. I have of course never misused it, I only use my powers for good. Another good one that impressed me was a kid in the street asking me "Is that your wallet, mister?" sort of pointing behind me. Without a second thought I looked away while simultaneously checking my pocket. It was in broad daylight on a crowded street and the kid just laughed. I bet he was practicing, though, another time or place could have meant a nasty follow through on his part and a bad outcome for me. Mean ones too and fierce."< >"Interestingly, boars have a reputation for fierceness (same for most other cultures where boars are a part of the natural environment)"< ...But of course, the pig is proud of his porcine warrior heritage! >"Monkeys(and apes) are cunning (and sneaky) by nature"< You left out conniving, acerbic, treacherous, devious, thieving, loud, obnoxious, and over-use the left arm compression in Pangamot, but this can be forgiven....! >"And rats, as Clint pointed out are quick and agile"< Rats are often compared to pigs for having higher intelligence. They think for themselves, as opposed to the tired old "monkey-see, monkey-do" approach advocated by so many damn...Monkeys. >"Being called baboy, unggoy or ilaga ain't so bad...."< Well think about it...Monkey....It just doesn't roll off the tongue the way "Pig" does. Thanks, Bot!!! I actually kind of like Baboy Damo! One of my Cebuano students happened to mention to me that in Cebu they often call little children "Baboy" as well, and this gets shortened to the popular nickname "Boy" as they grow up. They call me the Pig!! Bobbe "Baboy" Edmonds --__--__-- Message: 4 From: "th5" To: Cc: "Leslie L. My Rottweiler, Sheba, was in the vehicle with me and she noticed the man also and started to eyeball him and growl, warning #1. I park my Jeep and start to walk into the store and the male suddenly make a bee-line to me, warning#2. Now it is around 1000 hrs, nice and sunny out, and this guy is making steady progress to me, focused on me and my Jeep big-time. As he is walking towards me I can hear my dog barking, so I hang near the Jeep and wait for him to approach, pretty much within arms reach to the Jeep Once he gets close to me I turn my weak side towards him, left side, and get my right hand on my keys with an ASP pepper spray Kubaton. He comes up too darn close so I take a step back towards the Jeep while hitting the button on the remote to unlock the doors, so I can let Sheba out incase things get stupid. The man asks me if I have .25 cents, and I tell him alls I have are bills. He says he needs a .25 to buy a CD, and the whole time he is talking to me he is looking all over the lot, except at me and Sheba, a plus for me. I go to take my wallet out while grabbing the door handle to the Jeep and take a $1.00 bill out, and open the door a bit, and Sheba is going nuts by this time!!! The dude sees her and hands me 3 quarters and hauls butt out of the lot, heading towards some more stores, none of which have any music stores. Was he going to try to rip me off, I don't know, but if he had, he was going to face a 95 lb Rotty with 2,000 psi jaw pressure! By far better then the 18" rattan sticks I keep in my Jeep. I am just glad my police training paid off, and the dog alerted also. Who knows what the dude was up to, but he must have decided it was not worth the dog attack to prey upon me. Stay safe!!!!
