To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net Reply-To: eskrima@martialartsresource.net That's an important point to remember: largo, medio & corto are relative to your body size. Something that comes up whenever teaching someone of a different body size and build. For those of us who live in areas where body sizes tend to be similar, this wouldn't be a problem; but for those who live in areas where the diversity in body sizes is greater, this becomes more important. At different times, we had three students 6' and over in our club. The height and size differences posed a challenge in teaching them how to use the movements and ranges to their advantage.
